The eBay exit

July 11, 2007 —

Final price for a social shopping platform $30,100.01. The trezr team implemented, launched, and, now sold their idea in about eight months. And, if I understand correctly, they did it without leaving their day jobs.

There’s no better way to get experience than to just get out and do it. If you don’t like it, put it on eBay and walk away with enough profit to put into your next idea. That’s how you do.

Congrats to Adam and Artia.

More than I would pay for the “job” I referenced, but if they can take this “out of the box and plug it in” and it still works, we could look back and say bargain. Great looking site, very solid idea…the price of commitment is the missing piece. Trezr = $31,100.01 commitment to make it work. The $31k could look very very small in short order.
